Design Phases

Each package will be structured around the following phases.

00: Inquiry Phase

  • This phase covers the process of a consultation to discuss needs/wants and hopes for the space, after which, we put together a Fee proposal presentation with details on the process, costs and expectations.

01: Onboarding Phase

  • Once we get to the onboarding phase both parties are committed to the process and expectations outlined. We then go over welcome packets, collect inspiration, blueprints, and measurements.

02: Concept + Design Phase

  • We develop mood boards, sketches, and preliminary layouts, providing a visual representation of the aesthetic direction and layout possibilities for your space. After approving the concept, we dive deeper into the details where we finalize layouts, choose materials, furnishings and fixtures. The following are some examples of the services to be provided during this phase:

SPACE PLANNING

A Visual layout and redlining is done to help scale the space. With this service we can optimize the flow of the room and provide the most functionality for the space available. A layout plan can also give a visual and basic outline for your room setup before committing to any furniture.

DESIGN BOARDS

For this service, we get to work sourcing materials, fixtures, finishes, and/or furniture and decor items and then present our findings through what we call design boards and/or design presentations. This allows clients to visualize by feeling and seeing samples of the design idea and aesthetic.

3D RENDERINGS

3D Rendering is the final step in the design process, which involved creating models of objects, texturing those objects, and adding lighting to the scene. 3D renderings take 3D models and generates them into 2D photorealistic images.

03: Construction + Order Management Phase

  • Once the design is approved, we begin placing and tracking orders, managing the project (working with general contractors) and making on-site visits to help keep the process running as smooth as possible.

04: Installation Phase

  • When you book a furniture + decor package we start prepping for install day. During install day our team comes to your home, manages the installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment. Every piece is meticulously placed according to the design plan to ensure your space looks and functions as intended.

05: Offboarding Phase

  • This is the last phase in the design process. We will conduct a final walk-through and wrap up remaining install day items to ensure every detail is perfect. After completed installs, we will have a final walkthrough with the client and then do professional photography.
